Dr. Amira Kotb is a faculty member at Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University, and a Clinical Geneticist. She has experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and healthcare professionals. Her professional interests include genetic testing, variant interpretation and clinical reporting, precision medicine, and cancer genetics. She has expertise in molecular diagnostic techniques, including Sanger sequencing, next-generation sequencing (NGS) and third generation sequencing, and is committed to translating genomic data into clinically meaningful practice. Dr. Kotb is dedicated to advancing medical genetics through excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
